Limerick Milk Market to be Featured on RTE Nationwide Posted on August 24th, 2010

This Wednesday, August 25th, RTE’s “Nationwide” will be coming to you from Milk Market Limerick.The programme will be broadcast on RTE1 television at 7pm and will focus exclusively on the Milk Market following the recent completion of its €2m upgrade programme.
 
Comprising interviews with traders and event organisers, who are new to the Milk Market and others, who have traded there for generations, the programme promises plenty of variety and visual appeal. David O’Mahony, Chairman of the Limerick Market Trustees will explain the thinking behind transforming the historical Limerick landmark into an all-weather venue while local historian, Cian O’Carroll will fill viewers in on some interesting facts about the Milk Market from years gone by.
