The Saturday Food Market is the region’s most famous market which has been operating for over 150 years. It’s a real ‘buzzy’ market and a source of exceptional produce.

Together with the ever-present food stalls and shops, this Sunday market is a great attraction in the heart of Limerick City.
The Friday City Market is a new market which brings together an eclectic mix of some of the region’s finest food producers and horticulturists to bring you the very best of produce from land and sea. It also features crafts and other products too.
There are over 40 stalls offering a huge range of fruit & vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, breads & cakes, preserves and specialty foods – making it a one-stop-shop for all the items you need to create that special culinary delight in your kitchen at home.
Flowers and shrubs also feature at the market. You can also sample some tasty snacks and “food to go” options. Together with the Food Pavilion shops and 16 surrounding retail units, all open for business, the City Market is a vibrant, buzzy venue.
